Artemis by CysterWigs Signature Line in Chestnut by Kathleen

Hi folks Kathleen here with my review of Artemis “The Cool Sister” from the new CysterWigs Signature Line. She joins her “Smart Sister Annika” & her “Romantic Sister Aurora “. The experience of receiving one of these wigs is so wonderful. To the packaging and presentation to the extra goodies included with each wig...you will be blown away. My Artemis in Chestnut was given to me by Heather..thank you Heather!

All wigs from CysterWigs Signature Line arrive in a beautiful mat finished sturdy black box with metallic gold lettering and logo on the front. The paper is not flimsy tissue paper but a high quality paper covered with the Moon Kitty logo of CysterWigs. Each wig is secured in place and covered with a hair net.

A really nice touch are the free goodies included with each wig, a nylon wig cap and a soft velvet wig grip.

Artemis like all her “Sister Wigs” has an impeccable lace front and full mono top and virtually no permatease. What I like is you can part her all the way to your crown which gives her a very realistic appearance.

The contoured ultra-premium transparent Swiss lace has artfully hand-tied knots on the lace front that transition very skillfully to the full monofilament top.

Artemis has a casual beautiful and breezy deconstructed wave pattern.

I love this wave pattern. If you like straight styles with a twist you’ll love Artemis. Very contemporary.

The ends tapper nicely ( not bluntly cut) which gives Artemis great movement. This hair moves freely and these fibers are baby fine and soft. They have a very natural appearance...not shiny at all.

A great length to put up in casual updos. What I love about this mono top are the styling possibilities. Part her anywhere you want. After playing around with her I found just off from a middle part looked the best on me.

I love how the layers frame the face...very flattering. I have Artemis looking pretty sleek in the above photo but with this wave pattern you can fluff her up to get some more volume to her. All with a natural density.

This is my go to a rock concert hair....lol. Love these deconstructed waves.

This color Chestnut...what can I say? Such a yummy color. A dark rich brownish red. Heather describes Chestnut as a natural dark auburn brown blended with vibrant dark copper red. Truly a gorgeous color. If you want to try a red but are afraid of going too red I would recommend Chestnut. 👍🏻

So if you are looking for a longer mid length natural density lace front mono top wig with fibers that are baby fine with a scattered deconstructed wave pattern then you will love Artemis....”The Cool Sister”...enjoy!  Tap to visit her product page   Artemis

Hi Gloria..Thank you for your kind words & spot on review. That’s how I feel. The length is long ( for me 😉) but I think the natural density makes Artemis and her sisters Annika and Aurora very wearable. I just wore my Aurora yesterday In an updo using a claw clip. It was so pretty that way. You should post some more photos of yourself on Moon Kitty Mixup. I’d love to see how you wear her. 🙋best- Kathleen CW

Kathleen, I have to say that Artemis looks amazing on you. I love the freebies. The box it come in is super strong and protects this beautiful wig. I have her in the light champagne 🍾 it is gorgeous. The lace front is phenomenal! I can wear it straight back and it looks very natural. The length is new for me but it allows me to style in various ways like you suggested. Heather has created a gorgeous product. And you present it in a wonderful way . Thank you!

Wow! I’m a brunette, I’ve never wanted red hair…but OMG this color is so beautiful! Glorious on you, Kathleen. I may have to try Artemis in Chestnut. I already have and love the Annika in Marble Brown and adore it.

The mix of gray, light brown and pearly white are all blended beautifully. It has a silver sheen, especially in sunlight, it literally glows!! Very flattering shade for all skin tones, I believe. The hair fibers are silky soft, sleek and a natural sheen. Unusual for a non heat resistant wig. The hair has a fine denier, just the right amount of density, no worry about tracks showing through, nor too heavy.

Let me ask right here before I forget, where exactly are the ear pieces supposed to hit on your head? Should they come down far enough so as to create sideburns or sit higher rather above the ears?

At this point I am considering maybe the Zara Large and cutting it to just above my shoulders? If I did get a Zara, where do I have it cut? It seems like the wig shops around here will only cut it if they sell it to you. Is it safe to have a regular hair stylist cut a synthetic wig?</blockquote>
A lot of you can probably tell already that this e-mail was from someone very new to wigs because most of us learn this lesson the hard (and expensive) way:
