Client Review: Julianne (Jon Renau) vs. Brittaney (Envy)

Julianne by Jon Renau in Toffee Truffle (left), Brittaney by Envy in Light Red (right)

I just thought I'd share my observations on this product:

I normally wear JR Julianne in shaded Mocha.

For reference, here's Julianne:

And now Brittaney (in Frosted):

Out of the box, I love, love this wig (Brittaney). It needed no real adjusting to wear. The lace front is denser than JR, but I'm okay with that.

The texture of the Envy hair versus my Julianne seems a bit coarser/drier, bouncy, yes, but not that soft JR hair.

In a perfect Barbie world, I'd have the Brittaney in frosted with JR fiber (100% hand-tied is not a deal-breaker, as long as I have that full mono with a lace front, I'm good) and a darker root... But... I'm not the queen of the planet, lol.

I must say that this color (Frosted), lights up my face far better than my usual Shaded Mocha (24BT18S8). So much so, my husband even noticed!

The lace fronts and mono-tops of both wigs are pretty much equal in terms of quality and 'itchiness' (or lack thereof). The hair is definitely a bit denser on Brittaney, and her cut and wave pattern are outstanding.

I will definitely be purchasing more of Brittaney (in more than one color). I hope she is not discontinued anytime soon & I would wholehearted recommend this wig as a budget & quality conscious alternative to Julianne & Scarlett.

Well, thanks so much Heather, and I hope the feedback is useful!

Thank YOU, Marcia, for the thoughtful and honest assessment! The pictures are also fantastic and ought to be very helpful for people torn between these two pretty styles moving forward! :)
