Mother's Day Pet Pics!

Hi again, Wig Lovers!  👋

As you may recall, last week we asked for customers' pet pictures.  Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, the medical condition that gives CysterWigs its name, is a hormonal disorder that can not only lead to hair loss in women, but can also leave them infertile.  As this can be a sensitive subject, we thought it might be nice to have our customers send us pictures of their "fur babies" on Mother's Day -- although we don't discriminate; we'd also be happy with scale babies, feather babies, and shell babies, too -- so we could share them with everyone.  After all, EVERYONE likes cute pet pictures, right?

I have tried to use the customers' own words wherever possible, and those are the comments in quotation marks.  Any other comments are from your friendly neighbourhood Englishman.  😉

Natalina's Pets: Solomon & Cyrus

"Happy Mother's Day!!  I am 42 years old and have not been able to have hooman children of my own due to PCOS, but I am the proud mommy of two furry babies that have my whole heart."

Nat's Pets 1

"My Husky Cyrus is 2 years old and he's everything you would imagine any two-year-old to be; naughty, silly and delightfully playful!"

"My kitty cat Solomon is nearly 10 years old, and even my husband admits that Solly is the king of the castle."

"Thank you for the opportunity to share my children, and Happy Mothers Day to all of the mommies out there who don't have any hoomans of their own, but are just as valued and loved by the people and pets whose lives they touch every day!  ❤️"

SeAnne's Pets:

SeAnne didn't provide the names of these two, but she did say "Here are 2 of my favorite pics of my 'babies'.  Thanks for all you do."

Just look at those soulful eyes!  He obviously deserves a treat!

Cuddles!

Catherine's Pet: Cal

You can tell how fond Catherine is of her dog, Cal, just by the number of great pictures she sent of him!  But in her own words . . .

"I had to send you some of my favorite pics of my boy Cal.  I’m so thankful that he came into my life six years ago.  He’s definitely my BIG baby!  I love your company and THANK YOU for recognizing ALL forms of motherhood this weekend!!  💗💗💗💗"

Cal1

Yeah, they start out small and cute, but then . . .

. . . they start growing . . .

. . . and growing . . .

. . . and occasionally acquire a kicky bandana . . .

. . . while growing some more . . .

. . . and then they're big!

Cal is obviously a Good Boy, though.

Linda's Pets:

Linda didn't send any explanation along with her pics, apart from the one enigmatic word, "Lily."  But get a load of these two!  Dressed up, no less!

That's the look of love and trust, right there.  When i showed this picture to Heather, she said "Aw, there's a pretty princess with a snoot to boop!"

Come on, that's just adorable.  "I wanna boop all the snoots," Heather opined.

Terrie's Pet:

No explanation at all for these two pics, but I'm guessing they're of the same little friend at different ages.  (Though if I'm wrong, please let us know!)

How could anyone say no to that face?

. . . And now I'm hungry for some pork rinds, so I'll leave it at that and go get my munch on.

Thank you so much to the customers who sent us in their pictures!  It was fun seeing these and sharing them!

- Nigel

That is a fantastic question! Now, I also have a question for you, have you measured your face? (from your hairline to your chin) This measurement will help greatly with figuring what the length of a style will be on you, especially when it comes those shorter, pixie cuts! I also have a very petite cap size and about a 7" long face. So, I know when I see a certain style has a fringe measurement of 3.75" (about 4"), I know it's most likely going to fall around my cheekbone, maybe a bit higher, like with Ivy by Noriko. I use this same trick for the side measurement as well. I find it really helps me determine if I'll like the length of a certain style.
