Slick, clean, well-conditioned biohair is the enemy of wig grippiness!

Slick, clean, well-conditioned biohair is the enemy of wig grippiness!

Do you have a lot of problems with your wigs slipping? You’ve come to the right place! Conditioner often contains silicates and waxes that make hair feel slick and smooth to the touch. This makes it very difficult to keep your wigs from sliding around! Remedy: resist the temptation to condition your front hairline and the hair right up against your scalp. (This is way healthier for your scalp, anyway!) You don’t condition your biohair, but it is still naturally oily or slick all on its own. What now? No worries! This is a generally easy, inexpensive issue to fix, too! Try applying stiff gel or a light-to-medium hold styling spray to your front hairline BEFORE applying your wig. If you have pesky baby hairs, use this product to push them back off your front hairline, if you want. Let it dry completely, then apply your wig. This will naturally make your hair grippier - and an ally to your lace front styles!
