Siobahn's Review: Go for It by Raquel Welch in Glazed Cinnamon

Siobahn's Review: Go for It by Raquel Welch in Glazed Cinnamon

January 20, 2021

I've been wearing Go for It by Raquel Welch as my everyday hair for about four months. This is definitely my go-to style. I love the versatility of this pixie! The lace front is very nicely done, so sometimes I like to sweep the hair back off of my face which gives it a more casual look. It does also have a monofilament crown but I don't necessarily feel like it needs it.

How to determine whether you should buy a topper or a full wig by Julia

January 13, 2021

Whether you’re suffering from thinning hair or preparing for severe hair loss, selecting the right wig can be a difficult task. Not only is it essential to choose a hairpiece that provides ample coverage, but it must also be comfortable enough for a woman to wear confidently. The question is whether you should opt for a full wig or a hair topper (partial wig).

Lori's Review: Stop Traffic by Raquel Welch, Color: Shaded Toast

Lori's Review: Stop Traffic by Raquel Welch, Color: Shaded Toast

July 22, 2020

This is not a lace front,  but it has a nice light bang.  It does have a larger than normal size mono crown as you can see in my pictures. It also has Permatease, but it's not a crazy amount. I'm not a huge fan of Permatease, but it's placed really well on this one.
Let's talk about this color. I'm always wearing some type of brunette. I've never stepped out of my comfort zone into blondes. I am so glad I did. This color and rooting are beautiful.  Sometimes rooting on blondes can be dark. This one isn't. It was a tiny bit shiny,  but not enough I felt like I had to use any dry shampoo on it I've washed this one, and it bounced right back to the soft waves.

WHAT IS ANDROGENIC ALOPECIA? by Julia

WHAT IS ANDROGENIC ALOPECIA? by Julia

June 16, 2020

Losing between 50 to 100 strands of hair per day is normal. But what does it mean when when you’re losing much more? About a third of women experience hair loss (alopecia) at some point in their lives. Among postmenopausal women, approximately two-thirds suffer from thinning hair or baldness. The loss often has a greater impact on women than on men. Alopecia can also severely affect a woman's emotional well-being and quality of life. But understanding hair loss caused by androgens can help you get it under control and ease away the stress it gives you.

Kenny's Wig Review: In the Spotlight

Kenny's Wig Review: In the Spotlight

May 05, 2020

I have been searching for a second wig as a back up to my Belle Tress Sugar Rush. So many brands, so many styles, so many colors and it's so hard to pick a favorite. A few months ago I purchased the Raquel Welch Spotlight Elite in the color RL 4/6-Black Coffee (deep warm espresso brown). This is a really sweeeeet wig ;) It has dark brown roots surrounded and evenly blended with subtle reddish warm tones. The color seems to change in various indoor lighting.
