Kendall is my go-to hair. I can smooth her out or scrunch her up, depending on how polished or how casual I want to be. Love the full monotop, as I like to part in the middle. This is my second Kendall and, like the first, she seemed poofy on top at first but soon settled down.
The biggest drawback is the tangling at the nape. She's just long enough that the nape hair is always a disaster after a day of wear. I pin her up when I'm driving and sometimes during the rest of the day, in an effort to lessen the tangling. But it's really hard to avoid.
As I said, this is my second Kendall, and I don't know whether it's a change in the way I'm caring for her or if the two are inherently different, but this one feels coarser and more prone to tangling. I did everything wrong with the first one--frequent washings in wig shampoo, a brush, no conditioner or Simply Stylin'--and she is still silky and going strong. I've learned a lot since Kendall #1 (she was my first wig) so this time around I've used a Renau comb, Simply Stylin' spray, Renau conditioner, fabric softener baths, and infrequent washing with shampoo. And yet Kendall #2, as I said, is coarser, drier, and more prone to tangling.
I don't, however, need a wig to be perfect. In fact, I think it ups the realism if it's a little scruffy now and then. And my bio hair was a bit of a natural disaster, so I have a pretty high tolerance for frizz, lack of shine, errant strands, etc.
