I have a love hate relationship with this topper
First off, I have owned about 6 different brands of toppers (real and synthetic). I have owned 3 of these. To be honest, I will probably try this one again. The only shade I have tried is 12fs/8 shaded praline 12". What I love about this topper is that is very affordable. It also is very lightweight and feels the most comfortable of all I've tried. I feel like out of every topper I have owned, these also look the most realistic. These blend with my bio hair amazingly. Now, on with the hatred. All 3 pieces, even though the same have not been consistent in quality. All were purchased at different places, but I haven't bought one through Cysterwigs yet. So this review does not reflect Cysterwigs in any way, only the product. 2 were purchased through authorized sellers and 1 at a local salon. The first one, was my very first topper. It literally lasted one month. After about 10 days the hair became very frizzed and coarse on the ends. The second done the same thing after about 2 weeks, but with continued snipping on the ends both lasted a couple months, with daily wear. The last one was worn for 4 days and was worn out within the first month, the worst of the 3 was purchased from a local salon. I used JR argan shampoo, heat spray, and conditioner. As well as I never exceeded 250 degrees with my straightening iron. I did care for these as recommended. The consistency of quality was different on each one.
