My first wig, but I've returned it.

I ordered the large cap version as my head measures at least 23" around. Still, this wig left a huge poof of empty wig on the top of my head. I'll be avoiding Gabor wigs now.

Not thrilled

I've had a Gabor lace front wig before and I was very satisfied, but not so much with this one. The outstanding feature of this wig is the generous wig size. My goodness, I'm 23.5" and actually had to tighten the Velcro thingies -- a first for me. The hair is soft and the color "sunkissed beige" is gorgeous and matches my bio hair.

However, the hand tied front is so dense all the way to the front hairline it looks like a standard wefted wig, and the remaining hand-tied section is clumpy. There's also permatease in the hand-tied area. Add to that the curls at the temple are so thin I have to tuck it behind my ears.

I've never written a negative review like this before -- sorry I had to -- I'd like to think that this is the result of a novice in the factory?

It's probably more likely due to a rush to bring these to market and lax quality controls, unfortunately. We're definitely keeping an eye on these issues, though. If they appear too persistent, we will stop selling them in this store. For now, however, there are inconsistencies (for sure) but the majority are still ok. The samples I ordered, for example, were in much better shape than what you described here. I do know that the inconsistencies are real. If you're reading this and thinking, "Mine was wonky too," then please let us know, even if you didn't buy it from us. We're always trying to stay on top of quality issues to help people avoid issues like this as much as possible. As for you, Judy, I will be contacting you privately to see what we can do for you. :)
