Shayna by TressAllure

I was very excited about Shayna when she came out - even though there aren't really any good photos of her out there! From what I did find, I thought that this wig would be sort of a beachy wave bob. It's certainly wavy, but also curly, with more of a retro vibe to it than I was expecting. It's probably closer to Jon Renau's Felicity in terms of style, while I was expecting something similar to Estetica's Violet.

This cap has sort of a unique design but is very comfortable to wear. The lace front and mono part are perfect. I like that the mono part is apparent (on some of my favorite styles, I have a hard time getting the mono part to "show"), and it certainly looks very natural. I would say it's pretty light on the permatease overall. I think that a wig-wearer with a larger head might find that the coverage along the sideburns isn't sufficient. My head is on the smaller side of average and I did bring in the velcro adjusters a decent amount.

The hair fibers are so soft and lovely! The Sunset Glow color is incredible. The blonde highlights really give it some nice depth and brightness. The reds are fairly natural - to me, this color makes me think of my naturally red bio hair with blonde highlights throughout.

Overall, I'm not sure if the style is the best fit for me, but it's certainly a beautiful wig!!

I had been wanting a short curly bob some of them in the Jon renau line, for example, are really expensive pushing $400. This is the perfect alternative to a wig like maybe January for example. Every time I wear her I just feel cute and sassy LOL

I purchased this wig for my teen daughter who has alopecia. She wore it for her high school graduation. It’s her second Shayna. She loves the color and body and the long bangs that swoop across her brow without getting in her eyes. I think it’s an adorable style for all ages. The price is great too. When you know you need to purchase 2 to 3 wigs a year, I appreciate not having to spend a fortune.
