Abbey by Envy is a short, layered, and customizable wig. We really loved the EnvyHair synthetic/human hair blend when we tested it (on the Shyla wig). It gives you the best features of a heat-friendly synthetic without the clumping and stiffness. This hair feels fantastic—almost exactly like some of our high-end human hair wigs! The cap is exquisite and soft on the inside for maximum comfort. The monofilament top creates a natural-looking part and adds the perfect amount of volume. The entire cap is 100% hand-tied, allowing natural movement. These wigs cost a pretty penny, but give you a lot for your money!

Abbey, My Love!

First, I want to say thank you to Cysterwigs for their amazing customer service! I am thrilled with my new Envy Abbey in Amaretto Cream! There was confusion as to whether she had a lace front, and Cysterwigs went above and beyond to research the answer (which wasn't easy; even Envy's website was unclear regarding the matter)! It turns out that Abbey has the same cap as Shyla: no lace front (though it does have a small line of folded lace which can be gently plucked to create a seamless part), an incredibly lightweight French cap which amounts to a breathable double-mono top made of Chiffon instead of the more common silk (which is heavier), and this gal is hand tied so she swings beautifully. I washed and conditioned her and have her a quick going-over with a hairdryer and flat iron to achieve this look, which is similar to Jon Renau's Victoria (stacked in the back, asymmetrical bob on the sides), and it looks nothing like the model. The rooting on the Amaretto Cream color really lends to making it even more natural (or should I say no one can tell this isn't my hair because my bio hair is a cool dark brown?), and the Envyhair is silky and fine, equivalent to that of European human hair. I raise my Cysterwigs Coffee Cup to this gorgeous head of hair, and I'll be saving my pennies for a second one in Golden Nutmeg for the summer! Cheers to Envy and Cysterwigs for a job well done!
