Ok, so today was my first day wearing this lovely lady. I need to point out that I have an unfortunately massive head (hello 24"). The first thing I did after taking Amber out of the box was to apply some silicone to her because the hair felt dry and she was already fairly tangled. The combination of long hair and curls makes it naturally prone to tangles.
I think this is the most comfortable wig I own. The large cap is massive. Let me reiterate that I have a very large 24" head. I actually had to use the straps to tighten her up a bit. This was a first for me as my other large cap wigs have to be left wide open. This was also the first wig that I was able to wear without immediately sewing on wig clips. I have a flat head and have issues keeping any wig secure. This wig stayed on with no additional assistance other than my wig cap.
I ordered the color Fudgesicle. It is a rich, dark, chocolaty color with a fine spattering of subtle highlights which give it a very natural look. A coworker thought the wig was made from bio hair and it took some convincing to make him accept that it's synthetic.
If you are on the fence in regards to choosing an average cap or a large cap, in this one instance I would strongly suggest purchasing the average cap. Large cap Amber is the definition of a large cap and is only for those with a massive melon, like me.
