dream hair

Alexis is the dream hair for me. Here how I’d want my hair to be/look. Of course it has all handmade cap and feels like a dream on ones head. I don’t mine center part, but that bang could go right or left (mono top allows it) Look at all those waves

So Light, Almost Like I'm Not Wearing Anything

When I saw Alexis, I knew I had to give her a try, even though I hadn't seen any reviews of what it really looked like right out of the box. Sometimes the manufacturer's product photos look like what you get...and sometimes not so much.

I was thrilled when I got Alexis and saw that she really does look like the product photo! It is so gratifying when the wigs and photos look like sisters rather than second cousin twice removed, LOL.

Alexis is double mono filament on the top, which I actually missed in the description (what can I say, I just saw it and ordered). The whole cap is hand-tied, but there is no lace front (FYI). The wig is so light! I was a little concerned when I saw it was just 3.5 ounces -- I thought maybe it was a mistake. Nope, it really is light, and that's because it's a normal density!!!

I am totally thrilled and as soon as I get the chance, I will order another one -- and I usually don't order more than one of any wig.

Love it

It was just wanted. Longer than Mila and hits me in a better place on my cheeks.

Longer hair I can actually WEAR

I almost never wear hair that's much past my shoulders because long styles tend to be unflattering on me unless I wear them pulled back off my somewhat long face. I could wear Alexis straight out of the box. She looked awesome and was actually flattering. And she comes in grey to boot. I suspect that Alexis' cut will end up being one of those universally flattering ones.

The cap is well crafted with lovely teeny knots, but tbh I would have preferred a lacefront even though she doesn't strictly need one. Alexis has some very skillfully done, subtle, baby hairs cut into the front hairline, softening it admirably. The cap seems to be a bit smaller than other JR handtied wigs I've had in the past. It's enough smaller that someone with a petite average head wouldn't be swimming in it. I had to let it all the way out to fit my slightly larger than average cranium. Where I noticed the biggest difference in the sizing is in the depth of the cap. Subsquently, this affects the coverage, which is, imo, a bit shallower than I prefer it. I would also prefer a slightly denser knotting on the top, which in my eyes is a bit too 'light density' than is good for it. Note that I've not said anything about sendings her back, though. ;)

The fiber on Alexis is like a cross between the heavy duty Noriko fiber and the spun clouds Belle Tress fiber. It feels as if it will make Alexis one of those 'work horse' wigs without looking like one. The fiber doesn't seem to be…

14/26 Pralines and Cream

I'd like to point out that the color 14/26 on the web's swatch (little picture) looks more warm, then the hair in "person". So, I would say Pralines and Cream 14/26 would look more like on Heather's pictures here and her Video. The wig Alexis is fantastic! thanks
