I first bought Scarlet in 8/14, a medium brown. I was impressed with the realism, both in texture and hair density. 8/14 is also a very pretty color; not too warm or cool. If there is permatease, I can't find it. Scarlet is a flattering length and just so realistic. The hair on the lace front, however, was pushed off the face more than I like. I realize I can use steam to adjust the hairline to my liking, but I just haven't had time.
A month ago, I ran across Scarlet on CW's wigcloseouts.com site, in 26GR. I love this color. I've been wearing this one for the last two weeks and I've had a ton of compliments. Everyone at work knows I wear wigs (I have dozens and dozens, I'm embarrassed to say) and I often switch them up, even within the same week, depending on my mood. Now I'm hearing 'this is the one' from a lot of colleagues. I have an oval face, somewhat long in my opinion, and this wig is flattering because of the long swooping bang. Also I should note that the hairline on the 26GR is more relaxed than the first one I bought, not so off-the-face. I especially prefer my second Scarlet for this reason (plus the color is better on me; I'm naturally a blonde). So I'll have to try steaming the front of the 8/14 soon to try replicate the hairline of the 26GR.
A final thought: the nape of the wig tends to tangle a bit, so I use Simply Stylin' serum nightly, as well as clip up the back at times for a loose up 'do. I highly recommend this wig.
