Mostly Love Marion

I ordered Marion in my favorite shade 14/26S10, it's such a beautiful shade, I often get asked where I get my color and highlights done. Like many others, I do wish the knots on the lace front were lighter, but since I already own a couple other JR's in that shade I knew it would be the case. Marion is my new work hair and I've received many compliments on my new cut, lol. There is no permatease, which I personally prefer, not a fan of it myself. The fibers are fine and silky, and the length and style are just what I was looking for. My only complaint is that it seems to shed more than my other wigs, I really hope it holds up as well as my JR Minka (still in great shape after nearly daily wear for 6 months).

Beautiful Wig- Terrible Color!

I have to admit, I LOVE Marion's style. The wig itself was stunning. The cut was great, the amount of hair was PERFECT. And honestly Jon Renau's caps are so amazingly comfortable I have trouble selecting other brands. The fibers are soft and not super duper shiny. However the color is horrendous. When I see chocolate cherry, I think dark brown (which you definitely get, that color is beautiful!) and a vibrant red. But no, cherry means copper actually. Like pretty freaking orange. And the entire front was lined with it, so it made the part look extra weird.

So I will definitely be ordering Marion again, but will never try the Chocolate Cherry again!

Love the style

Marion is so much cuter than I had expected it to be. I bought it in 6F27 (caramel ribbon) and the style and color combo was very chic. I have gotten so many compliments asking who my stylist is! It has also been my husbands favorite so far. The reason why I am not giving it 5 stars is because the lace front is a little aggressive and is not the most natural of all the wigs I’ve purchased. Also, it is a lot of hair. Luckily, there is not much permatease so it’s not really noticeable but if you are not used to that much hair it may feel like too much. Overall, though, I think it is great and I would buy another one.

My Marion disappointment ....

Jon Renau is my favorite brand, 14/26S10 is my favorite color and this color is beautiful on Marion. But you know how every wig is different? Mine is not like the ones I've seen on YouTube or in pictures. I ordered her prerelease, and have heard that first run wigs are usually the best, but mine is my least favorite Ron Renau wig I own. I'm a 21" average petite , and the wig is so baggy that it forms vertical furrows that make the wig look even more stringy. There is no permateeze to obscure it. And my wig flips out in the back instead of curving inward. In the front, the sides curl under my chin on both sides , so that they ends end up in my mouth when I lean forward, when eating. She is a full lace top, so you should be able to part her in any direction, but mine doesn't seem to want to part in any direction, maybe that's why you see her pulled back or on top in reviews and pictures. These issues probably can be corrected with a wig steamer, except for the baggy cap, that would require an alteration. It's because of these issues I only give her 2 stars. I did get her on a great sale from my favorite wig company, Cisterwigs. I play with my wigs too much to ever be able to return them. I will work with Marion, and probably will remove some wefts and take her in and buy a wig steamer to restyle her. But right out of the box, I can't recommend her based on the wig I received.
