Love the style

I've been wearing this wig almost daily for several weeks.

What I love:

--The style! It's a classic, sleek bob. It reminds me of how I used to wear my hair, so it's very familiar, and I like that. I do have the floppy-front problem another reviewer mentioned, but I'm going to be steaming that soon (shaping cream is not working).

--The color. I have Rusty Auburn, which is gorgeous. It's the perfect auburn to me. Very natural looking. I've gotten lots of compliments.

What I like:

--The lace front. It's quite believable. Even my mother, who knows I wear wigs and knows I'm growing out my pixie asked me *twice* if it was my bio hair or a wig. It's a bit scratchy right where it meets the ear tabs, and I wish it extended a bit further down the temple tabs.

--The hair fibers. They are silky but not too fine. I do get a lot of flyaways in my face, like another reviewer posted, which is kind of annoying.

What needs improvement:

--The fit. The circumference on this cap is way too big. Now, I do have a petite-average circumference, but I can wear Hairdo wigs with no problems (those tend to be a bit roomy on me at the crown but fit OK around my head). There's no bagginess in this cap, but when I make the circumference smaller the ear tabs come down too far and dig into my ears. I have to use my wig grip, which makes wearing glasses with this one difficult.

--It needs more permatease. I can't believe I'm saying that because I'm not a volume person, but this wig needs a bit of permatease…

High Society in Mahagony

This wig is so cute! I love it! The movement is natural and the cut is very flattering. The lace front looks so natural. The nape is long enough to cover my neck hair, which is important for me since I spend much of my workday with my back to people.

Extremely real looking

I was lucky. My first online wig purchase turned out to be exactly what I was looking for – hardly any or no permatease, no thick fashion highlights and not too much hair. I found it in High Society by Gabor and I found it in my natural bio hair color – Chocolate Carmel GL27/30. It has many colors without heavy streaking. There are dark and light browns, copper and ginger highlights. In the sun it is more copper blond and in the shade a light copper brown.

High Society does not have an abundance of hair in the front which can make a wig look “wiggy.” It’s one of my pet peeves. In other words this wig is extremely real looking! The part comes in a zigzag but that can be straightened out. The first two I bought the lace front extended down by at least a 3/8 “. The next two the lace is trimmed very close. I had light bangs cut it and it looks great. What I don’t like about it is the zebra looking streaks in the lace part. But it is really not that noticeable. What helps is tweezing out some of the hairs in the part. It makes it look very natural.

I have found it wears well. No frizzies for at least 3 months of steady wear. But I do go over it and cut out any curly strands and I don’t comb or wash it too often. It is short enough that the nape does not tangle but still has a longish look. But it does loose it’s super silkiness to the touch after a month as all synthetics do, but it is not visibly noticeable. After about 3 months I will refurbish it with a low setting hot iron to…

Awesome!

I ordered this from the company and got it for about $100 less than one of the retail shops. It is the perfect color and style of what I was looking for. I am very pleased with the selection, as well as the service

My first Gabor 😃

I ordered Gabor High Society in the color Hazelnut which is gorgeous. Lace front looked amazing except for me the lace needed trimmed back a bit. Simple fix and I’ve received many compliments on it. Will most likely purchase again.
