My favorite style & color

VERY HAPPY! Nothing wrong here! Found my perfect style & color FS27 strawberry syrup since options in this line are many! This one is easy to wear. Looks very natural & exactly like my hair style & believable. Not too curly. I would call it a modern curl, more than a beachy wave. Perfect in between for us 80’s hair survivors. The left side curls a little towards the front of the face above the ear while the right side mainly curls towards the back (just like my hair!). Great lace front. Swings freely. Looks great with a ball cap too! Super cute. Washed up nicely. I will be ordering many of these in addition to what I already have. Thanks for awesome discounts too! Many thanks.

Sassy

Love the look of this wig, shaded praline is a wonderful color, not to bright definitely has a lot of dimension. I had mine thinned a bit as it was too much for me. Was hoping for a better fit because I have a small head just don’t really care for many of the petite wigs. The lace front is pretty good, not as good as Alia from Jon Renau but better than others. Had a funky smell almost like dog when she arrived. I’ve washed her and she is fine. Short enough that she doesn’t tangle in the back, yet long enough on me. I’m only 5’ .

January by Jon Reneau

January is a lovely piece with beautiful mono top and extended lace front. I got it in Shaded peach (love it). This wig seems pretty thick and I did thin it out some. It’s especially thick toward the front. I felt like it was just too much hair and the length just did not look good on me. I’ve been trying to go short recently. See my review of play it straight by RW. HOWEVER I do miss having options for styling. I’ve been trying to talk myself into shorter hair because I’ve been thinking it might be more age appropriate. I turn 63 next week. Anyway I put January away and went back to play it straight. Today (light bulb!) I decided to make a topper out of January and I blended it with my own hair which is fairly long. Well I’m glad I did and I think it turned out pretty cute. So I will get some use out of her after all especially for updo’s. Thanks for all your tips, Heather!! Best wishes to you and Nigel!!

I'm in love with January!

I've been wanting to try the beachy wave look for several months but was hesitant because I'm 57. I originally tried a few (Julianne, Brittanney by Envy)in blonde shades since I assumed they only way it would look good on an older woman would be if it was blonde. When January was released last month I thought, what the heck, I'll try it in one of my brunette standard shades 8/32. This shade is actually slightly lighter than my bio hair without the gray. I flt strange when I tried the wig on but asked my husband if it was a thumbs up or down. He loved it! I agree with the other reviewer that this wig will last a long time since it doesn't sit on your shoulders. Now I'm considering another shade, perhaps 4/27/30? I can't wait!

January will last a loooong time

This wig is very easy to throw on and go. The length is perfect because it doesn't sit on your clothing so no matting or much fuss during the day. I am taking away one star because I do have to fluff it every so often throughout the day to keep it looking good. It probably needs some styling cream which I haven't tried yet. It just flattens after wearing it for a couple hours and makes the top of my head look poofy while the rest flattens too much so it gives my head an odd shape. Again, I'll have to try styling cream to see if that fixes the issue of it flattening out so quickly. This was my first "shorter" wig and it was a great choice!
