I really wanted Felicity to work. She has many of the right features: lace front, full mono top, light weight, and she's a Jon Renau, usually my favorite brand.
In fact, Felicity reminds me of two other wigs I have like and owned: Holli by Amore, discontinued years ago, and Claire by Noriko. Felicity most resembles Claire, except with the monofilament top and a lace front. She is a bit longer all around, but has that almost 50s or 60s style that is coming back, but not in a big way yet.
The color I chose is a bit radical for me: Caramel Ribbon, 6F27. It is not as red as my photo here would suggest, but it is quite light and has a golden, truly caramel effect. I should have gotten this in Midnight Cocoa or 4/33, which are closer to my bio hair.
Since the style Felicity arrived in was rather flat, I washed her and hung her upside down to dry, then coaxed in the curls I see on Taz's Felicity. It seems to have improved the effect and now she is like a light-weight version of Julianne. But, I know this will take maintenance.
Don't use a brush at all with Felicity. Stick to finger combing and maybe putting the curls back in with non-rubber rollers and a light misting of styling product or just water, letting her dry so those curls are maintained.
For the money, this is a lovely addition to a wig wardrobe.
