THE GIST:

This wig is good. Crazy good. Julianne Petite is a classic graduated page bob with a twist - literally! This style is lightweight and effortless to wear in the summer. Julianne's 100% hand-tied lace front, monofilament top and Petite cap means that the wavy locks will gently blow in the breeze like natural beach girl hair and never give away the fact that you're wearing a wig. We recommend trying some of the syrup or shaded colors in this style to really bring out the most of this wig's gorgeous texture.

Feeling Giddy!

I have had to wear a wig for 45 years and as many of you know to find one that's comfortable, stylish and fits [20.5" head size] and doesn't look like a Granny wig 😉....well you understand, I'm delighted to be wearing Julianne Petite. I'm new to wearing lace front wigs and was hesitant to purchase due to how sensitive my scalp is. However, I'm adjusting to it as well as buying proper tape and removal of it - the videos and blog on Cysterwigs are quite helpful. Thank Mr. Renau, Heather and Cysterwigs' Family!

Julianne

What a pretty wig. Julienne petite looks l fabulous. Thank you so much for offering a petite size in such a pretty wig. The fit is perfect. I chose the shaded praline. My friends didn't know that I was wearing a wig. I chose a color and style similar to my own style. Thanks to the very informative videos I chose this wig and Cameron. I did tell my friends and they were really surprised to hear that I was wearing a wig. Thanks so much Heather for your great videos. I couldn't have done it without them.

Lovely wig

This wig has all the bells & whistles - 100% hand-tied cap, lace front, and full monofilament top - and the wave pattern is lovely. Very luckily for me, Julianne comes in Petite. I am a small person with a very small head, and it was just a ton of hair on me, so I had my stylist take off an inch or two of length and thin it somewhat. Mine is in color 8RH14, a very close match to my own hair. Try this wig. You won't be disappointed.

Julianne is my jam!

Julianne was a close as you could likely get to my perfect wig, and then JR made a petite version! It's so good. As others have said, this wig is phenomenal. The lace part, mono top, and hand-tied cap are all super well done. The curl pattern is amazing. It's pretty and can be dressed-up, but with a few good shakes and scrunching with your hands, it becomes more casual and deconstructed. With this wig, I have found it pretty easy to change it between curly and wavy. (Obviously the curls relax over time regardless, but usually a few twirls around my finger and they come right back.) I have lost count of how many Julianne's I have owned, and I am sure there will be more.

Disappointed

I would first like to explain that I understand every hand-tied wig (heck, every wig) is going to be different from its sister wig. All these units, even those with machine backs, begin with a human hand. That said, I was so excited to try the Julianne Petite. A hand-tied mid length wavy style? Who wouldn't want to wear that? So cute!

When my wig arrived, I was gobsmacked by how beautiful Shaded Peach looks in a longer style. I mean, GORJUS. But when I looked at the cap, my first though was "this is going to be too big." I tried her on. The circumference, ear to ear and front to back measurements were spot on. The cap was big where I figured it would be - too deep, too much stretch. Note to wig manufacturers: A petite head needs stretch like a fish needs scuba gear.

Sagging wig back or not, I knew it was an easy fix. Seam up the center. Problem solved.

But that wouldn't fix the hair, which I find heavy and chunky. On my Julianne (notice I'm saying mine, not all), the hair, when falling loose, looks pretty, but feels like lead. The waves are beautiful but stagnant. There is simply no movement in this hair. If I fluff the hair to lighten the load a bit, it doesn't stay. Eventually, the hair clumps at the bottom, which I know is necessary to keep the wave pattern. It's doing what it' supposed to do, but it doesn't work for me.

So why do I give her 3 stars? Because this wig looks absolutely beautiful with a loose pony, especially if you roll the layers in and pin them with…
