Great "old mom" everyday hair for this old mom

I ordered Gabrielle in color 8RH14 during the presale period. It was definitely worth waiting for. Gabrielle has premium features - lace front, full monofilament top, 100% hand-tied cap, and comes in the petite cap size which I need. The fibers are of a realistic low density, can be worn sleeked down or fluffed up for a different look. The longer nape (2.75") provides good coverage for those of us with biohair which tends to grow down onto our necks. Of particular note is the improved lace front. I have other JRs in 8RH14, but in Gabrielle Jon Renau put more of the lighter highlighting (color 14) right up front, so the knots there are paler and less noticeable. I think JR is listening to customer complaints about dark pluggy lacefronts in some of its products! Gabrielle petite, at least the unit I received, fits a little bit more loosely than my JR petite Mariskas; the ear tabs sit right on top of my ears, though all wigs fit me pretty much that way because my head is tiny. The fit is the only reason I am not rating it a 5, but I admit that is me, not the wig. All in all a great everyday wig, but versatile and something I will wear everyplace. I will probably order another or three.

Cute Hair

This is my first petite wig and my first hand tied wig. I have no hair due to alopecia, so the wig is scratchy on my head. I wear a bamboo wig cap, which I tape to my head, and that works just fine relieving the itch. I've been wearing this wig almost every day for 4 months. I think it is really cute and I like the length, as it doesn't fall in my face like some of the longer styles I own. My only complaint is the amount of fly-aways. No matter what I use, there seem to be some that get in my eyes -- no eyelashes make that easier. That doesn't make me not want to wear it and I would definitely buy it again.

I love this wig!

This is the first wig to truly fit my head. I love the fact that it does not have too much hair, and with the lacefront it looks so natural. Very Very happy; wish there were more truly petite wigs--it is amazing to have something that fits so well, doesn't shift around, and let's me think about something other than my wearable hair.

Gabrielle Petite

The cut is very cute. It is very comfortable to wear. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the color. It had a lot more blonde in it that I prefer.
