I got Carley as an alternate to Kimberly. Both are the Amaretto Cream color. I am very happy with the amount and placement of the highlights and with the shades used. It might be too extreme for some but, as I wrote in my review of Kimberly, I wasn't looking for subtle.
Other reviewers have written that they were not happy with the bangs on Carley. I have had to work with the bangs a bit. Carley arrived parted on the side, but I thought I would prefer parting in the middle. When I changed the part I found that while half of the bangs would swoop to the side satisfactorily, the other half pointed straight down. I tried wetting the bangs and letting them dry while pinned back but it ultimately took steaming with the Jon Renau steamer to retrain them. I steamed them to stay back, and it has worked very well. (In fact, they stay put so well I'm concerned it might look less realistic, and so I think I'm going to steam them back into my face a little.)
Carley has very sleek fiber and low density. I was concerned by this at first, because when she was on a styrofoam wig head I could see wefts and styrofoam showing through. I have very dark bio hair, though, so I thought if anything were to show through it would be dark and not as visible as the white styrofoam head. I also thought that with movement it was unlikely that wefts…
