My original chosen color was Sugar Brulee, but because of a long backorder, I consulted with Annie at Cysterwigs, who graciously helped me choose another one, Mocha Gold. There is very little about that color on the web. My preferred color has been the Shaded Mocha from Jon Renau, but translating that to another company's stock is not easy. The wig is beautiful! The TressAllure fibers are super realistic, only a natural healthy hair shine, not plastic-y at all. The layered cut on Avery is lovely, though I will have to train or trim the bang somewhat to keep it out of my eyes. The Mocha Gold color is a good bit darker than in the Shaded Mocha or maybe there is not as much highlighting so it does read as an overall darker color, but pretty. I was debating on keeping her as I am a natural dark blonde and I'd not really call this blonde, per se, but I really love the shape of Avery (albeit, she has a tiny bit of "box hair", but that will be gone soon), plus there is *not* a ton of permatease, either, which I know her lookalike wig, Jackson, has. I may keep her and just try to get another color of Avery in the future. The cap fits nicely. By the way, I am about to turn 62 years old, but I don't think this looks "costume-y" on me at all.
