Comfortable and realistic

If I have to go places that are casual settings, I grab for Elizabeth or Upstage by RW. i feel both are similar enough to pass off as being same to a non discriminating eye, but in a different shade of blonde. I bought this one in Laguna blonde, and really like the color in this shorter style wig. I think it'd be too blonde for me in a longer wig. Super comfy and very realistic.

Very disappointed

I used to sell human hair wigs in the eighties. Now I find myself needing one for myself! I purchased the Heat defiant John Renau Elizabeth in Martini. In some videos I've seen of this color, it has appeared much "greyer". I would have liked it to appear a little more grey. This wig is more on the blond side. It is a pretty color though. This is also my first time buying a front lace wig and I love it. The construction of the wig appears excellent. I gave it only three stars. When I read about heat defiant wigs, I learned that they tend to tangle and frizz easier than others. I did not expect, however, it would tangle and start to frizz within the first week of wearing. For $400 (I didn't know about your cupons), I am very disappointed. Hopefully my next wig experience will be much better.

We hope we can help you make your next experience a home run, too! Please contact us (support@cysterwigs.zendesk.com) if you'd like us to help give you some recommendations. Heat friendly synthetics are actually harder to take care of than regular synthetic or human hair. The tangling you mentioned is a frequent issue because that kind of fiber (HF/HD) does not discharge static very well. Human hair blended with heat friendly synthetic is usually better - or even just run of the mill synthetic! We'd be very happy to help you out here. It's a whole new wiggy world since "back in the day!" :)

Elizabeth (HD) by Jon Renau

I LOVE the style, and have gotten compliments on the color (midnight cocoa), but I didn't realize HD was such a project. This is my first synthetic after years of human hair, and it might not have been the right place to start. The ends looked frizzy after only a few weeks! I carefully washed according to Heather's online tutorial and have tried using low heat on the ends to tame the frizzies. Results seem temporary. I'm sure there is a fair degree of user-error here, but I would not recommend this for first-timers. If this style came in regular synthetic, I'd give it a go for sure.

Love it!

This style is so cute. It's a wig that I think will suit many face shapes. It reminds me a bit of Crowd Pleaser by RW but it is a little longer and is fully hand tied. I put it on right out of the box and loved it. I got the 22F16...Blonde Brownie. It's a nice neutral blonde color but I just wish it came with a shaded root. That would make it perfect. I know I will get lots of use of this wig. I won't use heat on it as I want it to last longer. It's fine to me as is...nice layered medium length bob. Had a bit of sex appeal too! :) Something about it makes it a cut above the rest...:) I will reorder this one I'm sure as long as it holds up well. I won't wash it a ton or comb it unless needed. I may trim the back fibers a bit eventually. So far very happy with purchase and I like Heather's exchange policy if necessary.
