Robin by noriko

I love this wig. I'm too old to wear hair this long, but I am going to. It is my favorite wig.

My Wedding Lifesaver

I bought the Chocolate Swirl for reference. So... I have gradually lost about 70% of my hair in the last year and a half due to alopecia. I became engaged a year ago and watched in horror as my hair continued to fall out. I started with creative hairstyles. Then toppers. But by the time the wedding came around, I needed a wig. I tried about 6 wigs. This one was my least favorite at first try on. It was the only one with a full cap. And definitely had the most permatease. But the density and length was the closest to my normal hair (which used to be very long, straight, and fine). And there is something about the wispy bangs that made the wig look more natural than all the other mono tops I tried. The fibers are very very soft and thin. I could do without all the permatease. But the bangs made up for it. And all the permatease gave me something to stick my veil into :) And when I came out with this on and my about to be husband saw me, I saw a wow look in his face that made it worth it and put me at ease. You can see the permatease in some pics. But all in all, I was very happy. And it only took me 5 mins to do my hair!

Totally pleased and surprised at how great a wig this Robin is

I have been look for the perfect wig for a while now...and had gravitated to those with a lace front and mono part....and had paid the price for them. Some of them surely looked fine, among them Harper from Henry Margu and Heidi from Renau and Jennifer from Louis Ferre.....but Robin at a much low price makes me look and feel better. It's so easy...that's all I can say..just out of the box...and it looks 'natural" to me... With the others, as nice as they all were...there was an effort that had to made...to make sure they looked natural. With Robin...there is no effort, it falls just right...and feels light and comfy. These pics were right out of the box and without any real "point out to meet the world "makeup either.

I should add an important note about size and that was one of the reasons I had not tried Robin till now. I have a large head...on the other size of the cusp of the average/large. Some of the shorter Noriko styles had felt like a tourniquet applied to my head. When I got Robin, I did not know what to expect...and actually made a mistake. Tomake it as large as possible...(I thought() I merely pulled the tabs all the way to their largest, but It was still a bit tight. It was only when I grabbed myself scissors and just cut the elastic...that somehow the wig cap just allow a great amount of further stretch. So what I can say is that if that can be done to Robin with my super huge head...then just about anyone can wear the Noriko large...at least in this style.

Hopefully they will start adding more large sizes to the Noriko line, like they did with their Angelica and Reese wigs. Robin is such a sleek and sexy style, everyone should be able to enjoy her! Thanks for your review. :)

Love Love Love!!!!

I like the Jackson but she can be mighty on my big head. I got Robin since bangs precut in and wig lighter than Jackson. I cut a tad more bang into it and tapered to my face, put some texturing layers in and cut about 10 inches off length all in just 10 minutes from box to cut to head. Here she is in that state … today is my first day with her.

Overall this a great wig!

I only recently started wearing alternative hair to hide my thinning tresses. I now own several toppers and 3 wigs in different price points. Robin is the least expensive, no frills, wig that I own. When she arrived the color, Nutmeg F, was perfect. I immediately put her on and was very impressed. Even without a mono cap or part she looks totally natural. I played around with the part to get her right for me. She is a fun, straight, really long style with lots of styling options (watch Taz's Wig Closet for lot of styling hints). The cap fit is just slightly on the tight side but not so tight as to feel like I am constricted. I think overtime this will stretch out and if it doesn't I have found that by clipping one of the adjusters you can get a better fit without loosening the wig too much. The hair density is lighter than my other wigs but I really like it this way as my own hair is so fine. No one has questioned the realism of this wig so far. If you are worried about the wefts showing ( and no, I really don't think she is that thin but hey, anything can happen with a really strong gust...lol!) just pull back her sides with a clip and you are good to go. I think I will get a lot of wear out of Robin for the price point.
