At first I was just OK with Alyssa (in Silky Sand). That's because I was coming from a very thick Jon Renau wig (Miranda) and it felt so fine in comparison. Now that hotter weather has begun in the south, I have a new love for Alyssa. She's the only wig I can wear without sweating buckets. Plus in real life she looks more like my natural hair than any other wig I have found. The very light density and fine hair feels extremely real. It's also one of the few wigs I haven't had to de-shine in any way. My only reservation comes from my teenage daughter, who said I look like I have a mullet. This was straight out of the box, and it is true when you first get it. But if you keep fingering the sides back with Piece Out, it does start behaving and look much more like the model picture (who kind of looks like Courtney Cox).
