A truly wig-less wig!
I have bought over 100 units in the past decade, from my favorite brands, all the big guys.
This piece from TressAllure is the first one that I can say I really feel has no wiggy qualities whatsoever.
Mind you, this is not the most expensive piece I own. A few of my human hair wigs cost 20 times what this one did. But, somehow, TressAllure and hair maestro Clyde Haygood (who makes wigs for and styles the hair of the Kardashians, for example) have managed to create a piece that looks and feels like fine human hair. This piece in this color 4/6R Dark Brown is exactly what my hair looked like when I was in my 20s. Back then I had to work for an hour to get it this straight and put all kinds of treatments in it to keep it that way. With this wig, I merely put on a grip, pop on Sleek & Straight, finger comb it briefly and go out the door.
Every time I need something for hot weather that will be utterly comfortable for hours, I reach for S & S. I can wear it in all sorts of ways, but I put a few of them here to show you how realistic it looks in any style. I especially value its ability to be in a ponytail (or clipped up -- the picture I took of that didn't come out well). I never thought I would like a mono crown, but it works perfectly with this style. Since it is heat-friendly fiber, I could put a bit of wave in it or change the shape of the bangs, but I love it just the way it is. I don't miss having a lace front either -- you can't see the hairline at all.
