Do you know that feeling when you find the ONE? After years and years of trying different styles? Well, I did with a different Belle Tress wig, Robusta, which was near perfection. It had some minor flaws (ie. the style was a little too bottom heavy) like any hair has, even real hair - but it was the best style and wig I had found thus far. Then it was sadly discontinued. I had to return to looking for The Wig that was gong to make me happy, again. This one is close to being that one, but it is not quite there. The style is cute – although much shorter than I was expecting. It is a cute chin-length bob with bounce. Interestingly, it has lift at the front hairline, so the hair keeps off my face. It looks professional enough for me to wear to work, to be comfortable without drawing attention, and to be taken seriously (this has been an issue for me in the past, if you can believe it...) I'm liking this one and I can be happy wearing it. I wish it could be a tad longer in length, but it will do for now, until Belle Tress returns Robusta or somethig close to it.
The best part of this wig is the color, Chocolate with Caramel. This is a beautiful brown color with natural looking red highlights. There is no brassiness. There are no blonde steaks. It is so hard to find a natural looking brown wig, without fake blonde highlights or glaring brassiness. Brown is beautiful in itself – and it doesn’t need blonde highlights to give it more oomph.
