Make it what you want
Echo “out of the box” looked nothing like the styling in the manufacturer’s platinum blond photo, but it did looked exactly like the manufacturer’s dark brown/black photo. It’s not as edgy but still has a contemporary look. I took a chance with Echo. I was looking for a shorter edgy razer bob that I could tuck behind my ears or not. I was going on vacation and wanted a fun very natural wig that could stand up to the wind and rain. It was perfect.
I found the hair to be coarse but because of that it will hold it an edgier shape just with some finger styling. The color isn’t quite what I wanted. I got the Light Bernstein Rooted. It’s a very natural shade of light brown with some lighter highlights and just a very, very small hint of copper. (My favorite color is Gabor’s Chocolate Caramel 27/29 and Envy’s Golden Nutmeg) Both of which have more copper and ginger.
What I really like about it how natural it looks in both color and style. Nobody would know it’s a wig. I had to do some minor thinning in the front areas, but then again I have a small face. I also had to trim the bangs a little as they were getting in my eyes. Although I like a full mono top, this has a mono side part but with this wig it doesn’t matter because the hair stays pretty much in place.
All it all I am very pleased with this wig. I think it will hold up very well. It is also very versatile. It will work for someone who wants a contemporary razor cut shorter bob that looks very natural. It can also look…
