Less perfection; more authenticity - my Wiki

My very first wig - Wiki, champagne rooted. I first reacted to the color. I felt it was too golden blond because am really an ash blond person. But thanks to Taz, I discovered that that the color changes with lighting and in the outdoors.

I love this wig; with seventy-four year old wrinkles and all, It is so me! Now I have two in the same color. Neither have disappointed.

Didn't look like the picture!

I was led to believe that the rooting was less contrasting than some of the others. Not true. also the part looks like a tangled mass of felt. I am hoping that this is one that just didn't turn out right. I spent hours online trying to find out how to lighten a synthetic wig. No luck. I had tried to lighten the part with concealer (which made it look worse) so I ended up washing it. No returning it so I decided to make it work or ruin it trying. I thinned the sides (It made me look like Rosanne Rosanadana.) and I've started wearing my own bangs pinned back. When they get long enough I can wear Wiki with my bangs back covering the part. That takes care of the extremely dark roots and the matted tangled part. I'm hoping I will be able to enjoy this wig. I've learned a lot with this one.

Wiki by Ellen Wille

I love this wig! I own Stream and love it also. I wanted to buy another Stream, but it has been discontinued. But Wiki is just as great as Stream, if not better.

Funky and Fabulous Wiki

I ordered Wiki in Carmel Rooted. Wiki evokes strong opinions in most wearers-they either love it or hate it. So. . . . I LOVE IT! Love. It. It is curly and hippy-ish and does my 56 year old face and heart good. I have a average-large head and the cap fits just fine. It is so light weight and the fibers are soft and wonderful. I get many compliments from friends and strangers alike. If you are looking for a little hair-adventure, give Wiki a try!

Love the Wiki!

Yes, it's a little of the wild side, but so much fun! I plan to buy at least one more in a different color. The hair texture is so soft, and I love the crimp-y curls.
