Bona Vita in Purple Rain
I love trying new colors . I saw the partnership between CysterWigs & PP on the site which intrigued me. Full disclosure I work for and are a super supportive fan of Heather ( CysterWigs & Hair Kitty Kitty) and all her style and color creations. I am also a sucker for warm purples. This one Purple Rain I couldn’t resist. Overall a dusty grape color with a brown root ( not so much a root but a dimensional root) because the value of the brown is very close to the base base color. Same thing with the maroon nape..since the base purples are blended into it ..it just gives the color dimension which is very nice. I really like this color. The style is a bob with a rounded short back and nape with longer layered pieces in the front. It reminded me of toned down Charisma to be honest. I took a star away because the parting space is small and mostly too dense. I ended up parting her closer to the middle so it would have a more realistic appearance. I had to used my hot comb to train the new part. I still have some tweaking to do but she wasn’t a shake and go for me. I have a petite/average head and she is pretty big on me so I will alter her cap to fit me as well. Overall the color is beautiful and would recommend it and the style is dry cute. PP was in line with what I have come to expect from CysterWigs customer service. They were wonderful quick and as efficient.
