DESCRIPTION:

Brittaney is a hot, on-trend, and super fun, mid-length wig with natural volume, soft open curls, and a 100% hand-tied lace front. This will flatter many different face shapes of all ages!

A note from Heather: This is my favorite of the mid-length wavy styles out there right now. The front is very Old Hollywood glamour. It's elegant yet casual—and retro in the best possible way!

HIGHLIGHTS:

- 100% hand-tied monofilament top gives you the appearance of hair growing out of your scalp

- No bangs: this one's a lace front

- Lightweight, silky synthetic fibers

- Average cap size with adjustable bands

- Open boho curls right out of the box

- Front: 10″, Crown: 11.5″, Side: 8.75″, Nape: 5.5″

- Weight: 4.3 oz

- Colors shown: Lighter Red

THE GIST:

Brittaney hits a very important sweet spot. Other wigs from other brands with this styling either have a 100% hand-tied cap, a monofilament side part, or a permateased top. Brittaney has a 100% hand-tied monofilament top, which is a brilliant move on the part of Envy/Alan Eaton! The length on Brittaney is very flattering and femme. This Boho curl pattern is super popular right now. We have a feeling this wig is going to be a hit! Glamorous grey options also available.

Love Brittaney!

I love this wig, I saw Heather’s review of Brittaney in another color and really liked it. Then I saw another review of Heather using the same wig in the color Chocolate Cherry. I loved how it looked on her, loved the color and her description of it. I have a large head about 23 inches, maybe a bit more. I saw that Heather described how it fitted nicely on her. So I decided to order. I ordered at a great price with 30% off. The wig is comfortable, looks great out of the box, the waves are amazing! First time ordering an Envy wig. Great experience.

Wig pretty nice, color not so much

Just got my Brittaney delivered this weekend. It is a lovely just-above-shoulder length wig with swinging, cool, waves which is the kind of hair I've always wanted for myself.

However I am sure it would be much lovelier in another color. I chose "chocolate cherry" which is not an attractive color and cheapens the over-all look of Brittaney. The color is mostly a lifeless dark brown with strands of a brassy coppery color on top. It is not distributed well and looks like an "all-chocolate" wig in back. I combed it so unfortunately (but fair is fair) I can't return it.

Brittaney by Envy in Medium Grey

There is something about this wig that makes you feel glamorous when you put it on. It reminds me of the old movies with leading ladies like Veronica Lake and Rita Hayworth! I have never had a wig with a mono top and lace front before. It is extremely comfortable and looks like your own hair. I purchased Brittaney in medium grey. The color is a gorgeous blend of pearl white and silver with medium brown shot through it. I always get compliments when I wear it which is a great morale booster!

Brittany doesn't disappoint

Brittany is a lovely style with an impeccable lace front. I ordered her in toasted sesame and sparkling champagne, both of which are beautiful, natural looking colors. I deducted a star because the area where the lace front joins the mono top is slightly visible (though easily disguised by a tousled zig zag parting). Additionally, the wig in toasted sesame seemed noticibly thicker than the unit in sparkling champagne, though both are gorgeous (and even thw latter is infinitely thicker than my bio hair). I purchased these at an excellent price and would not hesitate to order this unit again. It is very wearable for everyday and has a bit of retro flair that I love--like Grace Kelly, but modern at the same time. Thanks for another hit, Cysterwigs!

Some pros and cons for you!

I bought this wig for my "summer wig," because my favorite wig is just too long and hot in warmer weather. I took Heather's advice and bought the cotton wig cap as well, since there were some reviews mentioning the top being itchy. I have not tried wearing the wig without that cap, so I can't comment on whether I found all the hair knots on the inside to be itchy or not. That said, here are the other pros and cons I've experienced, but I'm gonna start with the cons, since everyone else has covered the pros:

If you're like me and overheat really easily, the wig plus the wig cap is HOT. If you're not doing much moving around, then it's comfortable. But if I have to do any kind of walking around (especially outside), I start sweating in very little time. It's like wearing a hat. You can probably get around that by not wearing the wig cap (which really allows no breathing to your scalp), but I also have sensory issues, and having that lace against my skin would probably be worse. Which brings me to my next point:

Envy's lace is REALLY stiff and uncomfortable. Once I saw the box, I remembered that this is the brand of wig my mom had gotten when the American Cancer Society gave her a free wig. She wound up having to both cut off some of the front on hers, AND fold it and sew it so that the super rough edge didn't keep chafing against her skin. I never had this issue with the Jon Renau lace front I bought last year, but this lace is really uncomfortable to me. Luckily, the front…
