I ordered this unit from Wigcloseouts.com. I'd never seen the color Sugar Cane-R and wanted to check it out and I also wanted to try to get more Noriko wigs since they tend to hold up so well.
The wig itself, looked just like the picture. The bangs feel like you're peeping out of a tunnel and my, what a lot of hair! I quickly went about snipping here and there with my thinning shears. Once I had her thinned to my liking and climate (Houston), I got out my steamer to open up the bangs a little and give the bottom of the wig some direction. I wanted the ends in the front to softly curl back and just, in general, take the curls down a notch. She is perfect for me now!
Regarding the color, I'm usually more of a Palm Springs Blonde or Shaded Biscuit gal and this is definitely darker than I expected but the color is beautiful! I'm surprised at how well she compliments my complexion (or probably it's more my makeup!).
She took a little work and this is something perhaps some people wouldn't feel comfortable doing, but I saw potential in Carrie and really enjoy making wigs my own. She is a wonderful addition to my ever growing collection of wigs!
A big thanks to Heather for all you do to help us in affording alternative hair and to Stephanie Cheeks, Annie Shields and the rest of the team who are always so kind in assisting me! You're all awesome!!
