I've worn full wigs for 3 years, then gone back to my bio hair for 5 years. I loved how I looked when I wore hair, but I really missed ponytails and brushing my own hair (I shaved my head when I was wearing wigs). I am now at a point where my bio hair cannot be styled in any way that I feel comfortable and I'm starting to spend too much time thinking about it again, but I'm not ready to go back to the commitment of wearing hair every day-- I still want to swim, work out, rest in a ponytail and headband. So I decided to try helper hair.
This one has been the easiest and most natural so far. It took some practice to blend my hairline, and I cut long bangs into it to help with the blending. I also use concealers to help blend (fibers and/or spray....still experimenting). I've worn it several times to get used to it, but the longest session was only 5-6 hours. I had some tenderness at the clips that time, but I was comfortable and happy with how it felt and looked the whole time. It's a little too long for me, but I don't want to cut it as I'm growing my hair out, so I wore it up in a butterfly clip and it looked great.
I am thinking about having several other Easihair products (XL, Fringe) and rotating them (and possibly moving clips) so that I don't experience as much discomfort and/or stress at the clip sites.
I think this is an amazing option to have. I'm so happy to have this tool and it feels so good to be confident and feel pretty. Great product!
