I absolutely loved Emilia the first time I put her on. That was about two years ago and I got her in my then standard 1BRH30. (For some reason, I didn't take any pictures to share here.)
Then, I decided to try 12FS8. It was a real risk, as I have had very dark brown hair all my life and couldn't imagine pulling off a golden blonde, even though I have tried some ash colors and they work for me. However, everyone keeps saying that 12FS8 is Jon Renau's magical color. They were all right!
First of all, Emilia is an easy wig to wear. The cap is super comfortable -- not hot, even in the heat of a Southern California summer --, the lace front is invisible, it has a full monofilament top and extended nape. The ear tabs have sturdy metal tabs and are velvety. The coverage on the sides is good. With a headband or clips, Emilia changes style easily and she can flip up or down and under with minimal effort. She doesn't have flyaways and she doesn't shed. The bangs can be trained to the side easily. A perfect wig.
But, best of all, 12FS8 works for me and if it works for me, it will work for virtually anyone. Yay! I love this wig. She is right up there for me with my Kendalls and Kristi. I may just get her in Venice Blonde too. Emilia is another wig that a first-time wig wearer can invest in without reservation. Give her a try, you will not be sorry.
