Almost perfect
If I could give this review a 4.75, that would come closer to my evaluation of this wig.
First of all, it is brand new and it shows. The manufacturers have come a long way with their monofilament tops and lace fronts. They are also perfecting the realism and naturalness of the fibers.
This is color 2/4R, so a very dark brown, with very dark roots (barely detectable) and some highlights with a darkish medium brown (4). What I am truly impressed with is the fact that TressAllure has placed the highlights in random areas so the hair looks exactly like biohair would, i.e., variable. Not big chunks, no stripes, very subtle. Really, this is masterfully done. And, joy of all joys for someone over 50 like me, there are a few, random, cleverly place hairs that look gray! Just a few. Few enough so those who want absolutely no gray at all, could pluck them out. But, not I! I want those grays. They make this hair look so realistic. Why, oh why, don't all the best wig designers do this?
As other people will tell you, the cap is comfortable and feather-light. There is natural lift at the front and all the way around. The hair by itself, no matter which way you part it, sweeps up and away from the face. The part looks like real hair, as does the lace front. Almost flawless.
I have dozens of very expensive wigs collected carefully over the past 7 years. I gave away 20 wigs over that same time. I can tell you, this one is among my top five. And, I give the credit to Noriko herself, to…
