On Edge pretty just not on me

This is a very sleek low density wig...no permatease on top..but starting above the ears permatease goes all the way around the wig..this is what gives it that rounded shape...I need some lift on top so this style didn't flatter me. If you are looking for a very sleek low density style with razored edges that are very light and feathery in the front On Edge would be great for you. Nice lace front and mono part... bordering on sparse but still nice. I did send mine back which was very easy to do thanks to CysterWigs excellent customer service.

Not what I expected

The On Edge is the 10th wig I have purchased and the first from Gabor. I ordered it in Shadow Shade Honey Toast (GL14/16SS). The wig is beautifully made and the lace front is very well done, but I was very disappointed with the style. Their marketing photos completely misrepresent the style of this wig. I purchased it as I thought it would have an angled edgy look as shown in their photos. This wig is NOT either of those things. I am not saying that it's not a pretty or flattering wig on my head...it is, but it's not what I thought I was getting. Normally I always look at multiple YouTube video's prior to purchasing my hairpieces, but there just wasn't much out there on this particular style since it was so new. To be honest, this experience has made me gun shy on this manufacturer for future purchases.

Frizzes along the nape.

I used to be able to wear Gabor wigs for several months before they would start frizzing at the nape of my neck.. Considering that On Edge wig is short in back, and Gabor fibers used to resist frizzing I'd expected to get 3-4 months of good wear, before the frizziness would make it obvious that I was wearing a wig. My Raquel Welch wigs (Play It Straight and Crowd Pleaser) frizzed after a month or so of wearing.

I have stopped buying Raquel Welch wigs because when I pay a couple hundred dollars for an item, I expect to use it at least several months o r more before I have to give it away to thee thrift shop.

Now two of my last three wigs have been Gabor, and I'm disappointed in the quality.

Gabor and Revlon wigs were my favorites for quality and style and color, but Gabor fibers lately don't seem to be the quality that they were.

. My most recent classic bob wig purchase is the wig I first started my wig wearing adventure with 5 years ago, - Revlon Scorpio. I've been wearing my recent Scorpio purchase daily now for several weeks and still smooth, sleek, and getting compliments.

Not my favorite - Gabor On Edge in Double Espresso

Sigh. I really wanted to LOVE her, but she’s ok. Like other reviewers, I bought On Edge expecting her to look like the manufacturer photos with those edgy razored edges that taper in the front. I’d love a wig with that exact style. At best, she’s a modern bob. I’m glad I ordered her in Double Espresso as it’s a raven black with a blue base which makes it slightly edgy. I’ve worn her out once and did receive compliments on her. I guess I was just expecting a wow factor reaction when I put her on. Will I keep her? Of course! She’s just not my favorite of my 13 wigs I have. Pros: The color is a high-fashion color, the fibers are soft, light and bouncy. The cut is sleek and modern. Cons: The cap fits me strangely no matter how much I try to adjust it, there a raised or puffy area above my right ear and no, it’s not permatease. All in all, I’d still recommend On Edge as long as you know not to pay too much attention to the model photos.

Hate this wig!

The cut is nothing like the photos. A very uneventful style! The only reason I kept it was to wear with a toboggan this winter and with a hat when it rains. Very disappointed with this Gabor wig. Where is their quality with this wig? Hair was very coarse. I own around 25 wigs and this is my least favorite.
