My first BelleTress, so I am comparing it to Rachel Welch, Jon Renau and Ellen Wille. I've worn Peppermint 4 full days now, so here goes.
+1 for style - the style is very cute and well done - easy for daily office wear. The hair fibers are the softest and most realistic I think I have encountered yet. I have both HD and regular synthetics, and these BelleTress fibers are noticably softer and have great movement so far. No tangling issues beyond the normal to be expected in winter, with sweaters and static and rubbing. A couple of careful combings of the nape a day keeps it natural looking.
-1 for overdone roots. OK - I love the color Sugar Cookie with Hazelnut, but the roots are soooo dramatically dark. Actually a coworker gave me the "did you spill an inkpot on your head?" comment...he was kidding, kinda. I worked around it by darkening my brows and applying plain old baby powder to the part, but really these roots could be a couple shades lighter and that would make it more wearable. Not everyone with blond hair has #4 roots...or eyebrows, or eyelashes.
+1 for awesome side coverage - This baby comes ALL the way down to the ears and has plenty of hair to hide the tabs.
-1 for an abrupt, short, thickly knotted and ruler-straight lace front. It's not at all the type of lace front you would want to show off, but with some silicone tape and concealer it's passable. I might get brave and try to pluck a little bit around my chosen part. We'll see.
