What is it about Trina?
Minuses: The cap is comfortable, however, I have owned another Trina which had an unbelievably comfortable cap for my head circumference of 22 ½ inches. It goes to show that no two wigs are the same. I’m hoping this one stretches just a little more as I keep wearing it – actually it has already started to do so. There is an extended nape, but the adjusters aren’t Velcro as is stated in the description. They are made of those little hooks but I would have preferred Velcro. This next minus is very subjective: the color I chose makes me look like my mother ... Well, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree as they say!
Pluses, pluses, pluses: I love this wig! I think it’s very elegant with lovely curls and with bangs that can be swept off to the side. There is a monofilament top which allows me to part the hair in the middle or to the side. I like being able to change the style. Also, I comb the sides of the hair away from the face and not the way that is shown on the model. I let the ends curl upwards. There are different styling options available here! There is a tendency toward lace fronts these days but with this wig, it’s not needed and I love the fact that I don’t get to experience the inevitable scratchy feeling I get from a lace front. The color I have is 6/28, and if anyone is wondering, the 28 isn’t overly red, but it’s a blonde color with copper hints. That’s how it looks to me: more blondish than copper.
